CP Products, Inc. (C.P.P. Inc.) originated in 1973 as "The
Like-Nu Janitorial Service." As part of the service the
company supplied janitorial products to it's customers. In
1976 a concentrated effort was made to increase the sale of
supplies. This approach was very successful and in 1980 the
first salesperson, Eugene Gordon, started to make sales calls.
Many of Mr. Gordon's sales presentations were comprised of
walking into a service station with a gallon of Gruff hand-soap
in one hand and a package of Wypalls in the other. Upon meeting
the owner or attendant he suggested that they wash their hands
with his product and dry them with the Wypalls. This technique
proved  quite
successful and before long Mr. Gordon found himself selling
in 7 counties in central Indiana.
It was
during this time that a vendor for the company suggested changing
the name to reflect what they were selling. Not having an
idea what name to use the, issue was dropped. That is until
that very same vendor started billing them under the name
CP Products, Inc.. Thus, the new name was born.
 In
1992, the company was sold and relocated to another facility
with hopes of adding party supplies to its line. The company
continued to grow and many changes took place. Deciding to
focus more on outside sales and service, the retail location
was shut down and CP Products, Inc. again relocated. Fast
forward to present day and C.P.P. Inc. finds itself as a focused,
customer oriented company with a brand new warehouse facility,
complete with showroom. With walk-in sales welcome and fast
delivery, C.P.P. provides innovative products and solutions
to customers like you.
